Wet Flies
Wet flies are traditional and highly versatile trout patterns designed to be fished below the surface, imitating emerging insects, drowned flies and other natural food.
They can be particularly effective when trout are feeding just beneath the surface and are a great option for both stillwater and river fishing. Fish them individually or as part of a team of flies, using a slow retrieve or allowing the fly to move naturally with the current.
At Granite City Fishing, our wet flies are hand tied in Scotland, supplied on barbless hooks as standard and in stock ready to ship.
If you require a barbed hook, please contact us before ordering and we can usually accommodate your request. 🎣🪰
