The App’s Bloodworm fly is the spandex favourite. The bloodworm is an imitation of the fly’s larval stage, and bloodworms spend most of their time on the bottom of the water, where trout feed on them. When disturbed, bloodworms move their bodies from side to side, attracting trout to feed on them. The app’s bloodworm will be effective when the fish are feeding on the bottom, usually when the water is cold. This fly is great in different colours. Fish sometimes switch off red bloodworms and need something else to entice them.
