The Daddy Long Legs is a fantastic trout fly and a firm favourite during the warmer months when daddy long legs and other terrestrial insects are around.
Its long legs and distinctive profile create plenty of movement on the water, making it an excellent attractor pattern for stillwater trout. It can be particularly effective when fished close to the surface, especially on warmer, breezy days when terrestrial insects are being blown onto the water.
