fritz-style trout lures for UK stillwaters, these are designed to be big, bright and highly mobile, making them excellent search patterns when trout are actively feeding.
🎣 Fritz Trout Lures
Fritz is a popular synthetic chenille material used to create bright, flashy lure patterns. The material has plenty of movement and catches the light, helping the lure stand out.
🐟 How to fish them
Fast retrieve:
Great when trout are chasing. Use short, sharp pulls to make the Fritz pulse and move.
Slow retrieve:
If the trout aren’t responding to speed, slow things down with steady pulls and pauses.
Sink and retrieve:
Allow your fly to sink to the depth the trout are holding, then retrieve through the feeding zone.
