24 Hour fishing challenge

#longestdayfishingchallenge.

GCFflyshop 24 hour fly fishing challenge for charity this challenge will be held on June 25th (weather dependent) at Forgue fishery We are hoping to start at 7 pm, fish around the clock, and then finish at 7 pm the following day. This means that will be fly fishing 24 hours continuous, only stopping for food and a drink (non-alcoholic may I add) Taking part in the challenge will be myself (GCFflyshop) and my son in law Connor Whyte, if anyone wants to come up and join us you are more than welcome to but it will only be me and Connor that is allowed to fish for the 24 hours (if this goes well we could get more anglers involved next year)The money raised will be going to Willows Animal Sanctuary, this rescue center based near Strichen has a really special place in my daughter’s heart, she volunteered there when she was younger and she still has a great relationship with the fantastic people that run the charity.

How I plan to raise as much money as possible for this great charity is by donations we have a just giving page for the charity so all money raised will go directly to the charity. I will also be holding some competitions that will be run during and after the challenge.

I really hope you all get behind this and you never know, it could be the start of something we can all do every year and get more people involved.
