Pellet Worm Mop Fly

Description

The Pellet Worm Mop Fly is a great addition to any stillwater angler’s fly box. Designed to imitate the food pellets and small worm-like food sources trout often encounter in stocked fisheries, this pattern can be an excellent choice when trout are feeding close to the bottom or around the margins.

Fish it slowly near the lake bed, along the margins or around likely feeding areas. Experiment with short pulls, gentle twitches and pauses until you find what the trout are looking for.

Whether you’re fishing a commercial trout fishery or your favourite Scottish stillwater, the Pellet Worm Mop Fly is a useful pattern to have ready for your next session.
